What's better Mac OS or Windows?

It is a matter of personal preference. I guess if you do a great deal of graphics the Mac O/S would have it over Windows. Mac has very little problem with viruses also.

Assuming you're comparing OSX and Windows XP, and that you are a basic Windows users, stick with Windows.

Mac OSX is great if you're arty, have dyslexia (seriously, because of the ability to move things around how you want on the screen and because of the excellent interoperability between mac applications so less admin to do), and because you can rely on a Mac to be able to organise files far more quickly than Win XP.

A Mac will liberate the way in which you think about a computer but it will also drive the die-hard Windows user nuts because you need to learn short cuts using the keyboard much more on a Mac to make the most of it.

It depends on what you plan on doing with the computer.

If you are planning on using the computer for lots of graphical and\or audiovideo related stuff then I would reccomend a Mac OS. If you are going to play video games or just to have a computer for basic word processing, I would go with the Windows OS. Software tends to be a bit cheaper for the Windows OS.

MAC OS is more stable than windows and can't easily get viruses, but if you're used to windows I wouldn't change because you would have to buy all software to run with mac as well as re learn the whole system

well there both good if you are a gamer windows all the way but if you do photo shop stuff use a mac. if you get a mac get OS 10+ because OS nine sucks and if your getting windows you should get vista which will come out next month

thats an ongoing silly argument, whats best is what you choose for your needs, they both have great points going for them
