If you download music on Limewire, but don't share your files, is it still illegal?

yes its still illegal to download music off the internet, but if you're gonna do it and not share it, you won't get caught.

Downloading any type of media, from any P2P service wether it be Limewire, or Bearshare, Or Kazaa, If your not paying for the music then its illigeal from the beginning. After its downloaded whatever you do with it wether it be listen to it or burn discs and sell to people its all illigeal, but millions upon millions of people do it so there is a very slim chance that someone will show up on your doorstep coming to arrest you, Use iTunes Music Store.

Good day. It is illegal to download copywrited stuff from limewire but it is NOT illegal to share stuff. If u dont want to share files, thast yur choice. Its like u buy ice cream and is yur choice to share it or not. When a file reaches yur computer, it is yours. Laterz
