I am in a hotel room and my clothes are soaking wet, what is the fastest way to dry them?

I agree with the people who suggest hotel laundry service. That would be fastest/easiest. Roll your wet clothes in dry towels to get out as much water as possible. Turn jeans inside before hanging them. Does the bathroom have a heat lamp? try that. and leave the bathroom door open. If there is no heat lamp in the bathroom, hang your clothes in the bedroom --probably drier air and more air circulation. Take full advantage or whatever heating and air circulation systems your room has. Good luck!

Make sure you ring them out as much as you can, until they are not dripping at all. Then use the hair dryer on it. You might could also use an iron on it, but you will have to be VERY careful with this. It would dry it faster though, you just have to keep the iron moving. Most hotel rooms come with an ironing board and iron. Other than that, you might could call the front desk and ask if they have a laundry service in the building so you can take or get your clothes put in the dryer.

You could try the microwave (if you have one in your room) to heat them up, as long as there is NO metal on any part of the clothing. When they're heated, they'll dry faster. I hope you don't have jeans you're trying to dry. Those things take forever! And be sure you get the crotch of your pants. That's where most people forget to dry, but it's sure uncomfortable to put them on when it's wet there!

Most hotels have laundry facilities and some offer their services to guests. Call the front desk and see if they can help. Even if they do not, as a rule, offer laundry services to guests they certainly have the dryers they use for their in house laundry and you can beg. When I worked in hotels we always gave the complaining guest what he/she wanted, as much as it pained us sometimes, just to shut him/her up.

Some hotels have coin-operated washers and dryers you can use. If your hotel doesn't have any, than I hope you packed a change of clothes.

okay you posted this 4 days ago so my guess is they are dry now - but - you could have called down to the front desk and asked for housekeeping - and asked them to throw them in the dryer for you - they would have done it.....

You don't necessarily need hot heat. Sometimes using a fan or air conditioner works too!
