I had to wait a minute to answer to stop laughing. That was a good one. I bet you asked why we would fail to win the majority of congress too, didn't ya?

Actually I think the Dems with take the white house but lose either the House or the Senate. But I think both parties have already failed, neither one has a their heads out of their fourth point of contact. They are too busy fighting amongst them selves to get anything done. I say we fire the lot of them and replace them all.

Sounds like some people are getting worried about the winds of change that the voters have finally brought. It's all over but the cryin', America has seen through the Republican hate platform, the lies and corruption have run their course and the payback is just a matter of time, those neocons better head back to their think tanks and crawl back under their rocks, because We're Back!

They won't. Dream on. The only way the Dems could lose in '08 would be to nominate someone with no experience like Obama who would be better suited as a vice presidential candidate. And you know if the Repubs nominate John McCain who's crying out to send more troops to Iraq, it will be a piece of cake for the Dems.

because they will do what is the right thing to do, to get America on the right track, and it will be smeared by republicans like usual.
-they'll blame raising taxes to pay bush bill on dems
-they'll blame the failures in Iraq on dems, when bush has had going on what 4-5 years where the new majority will have 2??
like usual, the dems will be the republican scapegoat.

First, I would like to say I am a Republican who is totally disgusted with the vast majority of users on this forum who call themselves Republicans.
Here are my observations and opinions about them;
1: They would rather put their own self interests in this president, ahead of the interests of this Nation.
2: They would rather clone, reticule, and demean those who would try to bring serious discussion to this forum, than debate them on their own merits.
3: They also seek to report in an attempt to undermine those stated in #2 in an effort to have those facts removed.
4: and final, history will remember those who stood by while this Nation was robbed, lied to, and stolen from and those that defended those very practices

They really need to put their heads together and come up with a real platform. The last few elections when they have "put their heads together", we hear a noise like the Three Stooges!

If Hillary chooses Obama as a running mate, and he accepts the role of Vice-Pres. it will be an utter cake walk

Because they will impeach OUR Presdient and Commander in Chief George W. Bush, OUR Vice President Dick Cheney, etc.. Since these great leaders are the ONLY people, dead or alive, that could possible save America...... the democrats will fail.

The Republicans will outmanouver them by representing a candidate that hates Bush more than the liberals.
