originally, the higher being was worshiped in a feminine form, as a "Goddess" in early religions. But as time went on humans became more war-like and lost touch with nature,The "Goddess" became male, and women were oppressed.

This made sense because all life forms were originally female by default until life forms started sexual reproducing. The "x" chromosome is the dominate Chromosome and it's also the female chromosome. Both males and females have it. Also a child can be born with only an X chromosome and survive, but it's impossible for a child to be born with just a "Y" chromosome(Which is the Chromosome of maleness). So religions that kept the "Goddess" in their beliefs retained their respect for the earth longer than religions with a male based god(most of them did)

The concept of a female god is impossible in the judo-Christian beliefs. But the concept that God was originally female is not a far fetched idea. So you are on the right track with that!

Venus… The one true Goddess

But to clarify a misnomer about Venus

There are so many different versions of these stories handed down.

There is one who says Zeus was married to Dione and had a daughter Aphrodite.

There is one that says Venus is Aphrodite. Wrong!!!!!

There is one that says Venus is the daughter of Uranus and Gaia. She is known as the Daughter of Heaven and Sea (Creation)

So if Venus is Uranus' daughter and Aphrodite is Zeus’ daughter, they cannot be one in the same!!!!

And I’m sure she would be insulted at being called Aphrodite!
