Why are so many people in the U.K. agnostic?

because they are more intelligent than americans.

Yo can only take so much and especially in Britian you can see th ehistory of how the king(queen now) controlled religion and you becam ewhat she/he was.

Brits like the res tof us are slowly but surely comiong around to the beleiof that if's he's there it's time to speak up, come forward or at least offer proof.

agnosticism is the concept that there's not enough evidence to know whether or not a higher being exists as there isn't enough evidence to prove or disprove of a higher being i'm agnostic by the way and you also have agnostic atheists and agnostic theists if you want more information on agnosticism then go to wikipedia type in agnosticism wikipedia

Maybe because the head of the church of england isn't quite a role model for raising children.

Or maybe because the wife of the next head of the church of england is as ugly as she can be.

Or maybe because they have figured out the true nature of organized religion.
