How does your religion view followers and non-followers differently?

And if it doesn't differentiate, feel free to put that in.

As a Christian, our goal is to love everyone equally. We would walk beside those who are not following and show them God's love and be an example, if they want one. If you walked into the doors of our church, we would welcome you warmly whatever your beliefs or situation.

I am a Christian and I think that I personally view followers as those who need to help non-followers find the way. We do not try to push our religion on people or look down upon them but look at them as people who are loved by God but need help finding that out.

People are God's creation. He made them in His image. He made them with free will. Since the Fall, that image has been distorted. They can serve Him or not. He loved each person so much that He sent His one and only Son to die for our sins, because only a perfect person dying can pay the price for our sins. Because He was both God and man his death counted for each person's sin. If anyone wants their sins forgiven they can be forgiven by acknowledging their sin being sorry for their sins, not wanting to sin anymore. They can be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, if they accept His death as payment for their sins. Then they will be born again a new creature. He will be their Father and they will be His children..

So, followers of Jesus (not necessarily a religion) will spend eternity in heaven with Him as His precious children. Non-followers are those that Jesus is waiting for and He has asked us to go tell them so that they too can spend eternity with Him. He knows that unless they are born again they cannot see the kingdom of God. They must turn to Him before they die in their sin and are thrown in the place meant for Satan and his demons. They are valuable and loved by God. They must be warned of their impending doom. Why wouldn't we tell them as earnestly as we would tell them if their house was on fire? I guess the difference is followers and non-followers are going on different paths, followers are taking the only path to heaven. Non-followers aren't going there because you can't get there any way but on the path.

I am hindu. In my religion, atheism is not regarded as strange and people does not care if you follow religion or remain atheist.

Being an atheist only come to knoledge of other person when he deny to accompany a friend or relative to a hindu temple, and it is only regarded as his personal idea, but a person is never judged based on his belief.

This is how I believe. There is a spiritual realm and a physical realm. I live on earth in both realms. When I am conversing with a non-believer, we are just in the physical realm and I must treat him with all respect as he is my fellow man. If he does not want to hear about religion, spirituality, I must respect that. He is still a man of intellect, talents and information. And I must respect that.

    Heres what mormons believe:

-non-believers that live a bad life are gonna end up in the telestial kingdom

-non-believers that live a GOOD life will find a place in the terrestrial kingdom

-belivers who accept all aspects of the gospel will stay eternally in the Celestial kingdom

(all of those kingdoms are glorious paradises and not places of torture like hell)

I don't think Christ taught us to treat followers or non-believers any differently. We treat ALL of our friends and companions differently because of the individual needs, desires, strong and weak points.

I hope I treat all humans equally, but I acknowledge the differences we have from one another, and pick and choose my friends from my own standards, as I expect them to do.

there are no believers in my religion and atheists can't deny it.

Satanism doesn't believe in an afterlife or a higher power, so there is really nothing to deny
