I need simple, fat burning exercises for my stomach.?
I can do situps and crunches, they arent working very well anymore, i have lost 55 pounds and I still need to lose about 3 inches off my waist before I m thoroughly happy. Any other abdominal exercises you suggest?
Or any fat burning exercises at all?

Without knowing any more information, I'd say be patient - diet and exercise have in common that they tend to plateau, they reach a level where nothing seems to be happening. It's the body's way of re-adjusting and re-aligning.
Keep doing what you're doing and don't be discouraged. Give it a little more time.
Of course, the best exercise in the world is the old classic, pushing away from the dinner table. Sounds like you've already got that one under control.
Congratulations on the 55!

To burn off the fat, you are going to have to get up and go. Do some cardio exercise. If you haven't already started, do some light weights. This will also help to burn fat. I too am in the process of losing weight. The cardio helps to to tone the muscles underneath so they don't get laszy and flabby. But if you don't do a total body workout, you won't lose those last 3 inches. Just keep at it. CHange up your routine a little bit, and you should begin to see some results.

KUDOS to you on the 55 lbs. In doing that, I think the last thing you need is another "know it all" telling you what to eat. However, I will say this...the last bit is the hardest. I suggest every other day doing a cardio. Running will tighten up those abs wonderfully ( I know that sounds funny) As far as ab work, I will do my best to describe, lay flat on the floor with hands under your but, lift your legs just a couple inches off the floor, lift up and down without touching the floor. Next sit up right, legs out front, lean back as far as you can go with your ab muscles in-gaged, with a "light" weight twist side to side taping the weight on the floor. Make sure you watch the weight the whole time. Trust me! Last lay on your side, prop yourself up on your elbow, next lift your side off the floor slowly, holding for a sec each time repeat on other side. You have multi layers of ab muscles, crunches and sit up only touch on a couple. These will get you started. Good luck, and once again NICE JOB!

Walk twice a day, 30 min at a time at least to help burn fat and build stamina. Crunches alone with just stationary exercise is not very helpful.

Pilates!!! No, I'm serious. I tried pilates and oh my goodness did it work! There is this one Crunch video that mixes pilates and yoga together...works wonders! You lose the weight by toning up with pilates. I love it and thoroughly recommend it.
