Children telling their business at school. Some of the business is so detailed, and imagine it being told by a second grader, you ask the child to stop and change the subject. YOU ( as the school staff) do not want to hear anymore because if you do, you will want to go to the parent's house and.. . (laugh)

Another thing is parents making $75,000 and more with less than 4 children trying to get free lunch simply because they are "passport" immigrants in this country. But in general, people making in excess of $75,000 even APPLYING for free lunch and financial aid and free programs in the public school system never cease to amaze me. WE have children that are really hungry and their parents are not just trying to make ends meet, but just say hello.

Next one, on the school staff. It never ceases to amaze me that the teachers always speak about building students' self-esteem, yet get in the hallways and gossip about the children and their parents and their situations. Children come home and tell. Children may not can see you, but they can hear. NOT all are talking while the teacher is out in the halls. AND some students they have sent in the hall, and go to the next teacher's room and talk about this SAME KID!!!!

CONTINOUSLY never ceasing to amaze ME!!!

I sell furniture at my workplace and the one thing that never ceases to amaze me is people asking for discounts. It can be brand new in the package and for some reason they feel the need to ask for a discount! It gets very annoying and I feel that it's actually kind of rude. I also have to agree with you about rude people...it's definately amazing that people have enough guts to act that way to random people!

Nothing that people do surprises me. Worked in retail for 8 years and I work for the government now. People can be rude, ignorant, sneaky, gross, stupid, lazy, lying, two faced, cruel, thieving, conniving and uncaring beings. I have seen them all. Fortunately, there are also a lot of good people out there that make it possible for you to sort out all of the bad ones.

The extent to which many people will lie for any number of reasons and those who show lack of personal responsibility. But I think you and others nailed it with just plain "rude" so I'll be more specific -- careless, imprudent drivers (which someone said already), loud cell phone talkers, people who don't say "thank you," people who do not value others' time or problems, or recognize when you are showing them courtesy. Good question. Thanks!

When people don't bother to look to the left or to the right when crossing the street and just walk into the street, like a mindless twit, when a car is approaching. It's like, "Okay---I see a car travelling at 60 mph in my direction. I wonder what it feels like to be hit by all that steel----let's try it just for fun!"

How people do thoughtless things (ie. throwing cigarette butts out their car window or throwing them on the ground before they go in a store, how shoppers pick things up and then carelessly throw them down anywhere in the store, blaming a clerk in a store who has no control of policies, crooked politicians, and crooks in general). I'm not all perfect either.

The incredible amount of stupidity combined with unabashed rudeness.
