Have you ever been in a situation where someone literally saved your life, or you saved their's?

YES!!!! I was in a very bad depression In late November and I was going to kill myself. I came onto yahoo answers and posted a question under my old ID. which i delated. and said i was going to kill myself.

Another user Ken D saw that and sent me an email. he asked me not to do anything till he got home from work. this was late night. anyway I said ok. he got in touch with me through IM. and talked to me for an hour and a half. I told him more then once i was going to take my pills and we could talk till i went to sleep. well He told me about Jesus. and had me Pray a Prayer for forgivness I gave my sins and my life to Jesus that day. and the moment i did my life was changed. I became a new person. I lost ALL desire to die when Jesus came into my life.

Ken D took the time to talk me out of killing myself. i was close very close to killing myself. had everything ready. but God sent Ken to talk to me. and he saved my Life Thank you Ken. so that's my story. I now hope one day I can save someone's life also.

I had a co-worker perform the heimlich maneuver on me after choking on a steak sandwich. I have been very greatful since then and I spend more time chewing meat than I had done before. This was in 1990 or so.

I was fortunate enough to save the life of another person. And I have also had my life saved by another.

Yes, I almost drowned when I was 6 and someone saved me.

I was saved from suicide. I Just got out of the hosptial my friend found me and called 911 i am still mad at her for that. why didn't she mind her own busness. I would have peace now
