When you click Insert, Symbol

check out the various fonts (botton on the top left) and subsets (button on the top right)

On the bottom of the font list, there are Math fonts

Also,

in Word

for H20 for example

type H20 backtrack and select the 2 only

click Format

cl Font

cl Subscript

One way or the other you should be able to get the symbol you want – providing the font is on your computer.

(I am able to subscript in Word, but it did not "paste" here.

You can easily find pi if you go to Insert, Symbol, leave the font on (normal text) or change it to Times New Roman and change the subset to Number Forms. Pi is the last one on that line and square root is fifth on the next line. To do squared and cubed, use superscript for the 2 and 3: Format, Font, checkmark superscript. There is a keyboard shortcut for superscript (Ctrl + Shift + plus sign) and one for subscript (Ctrl + equal sign). Use the same keyboard shortcut to stop doing superscript or subscript. For example, to type 2 squared using this keyboard shortcut, type 2 then Ctrl + Shift + plus and type another 2, then Ctrl + Shift + plus to return to normal text.

Go to insert, then click symbols and you'll have to look careflly 2 find the ones u need.

Insert>Symbols - then choose from the list. You may have to change the font to find some symbols.

You can either copy and paste special picture from Excel, or

Go into "Format", 'Bullets and Numbering", and click on one of the bullet types, and then "Customize"

-Click on Character"

-go to the Book Antigua font and on the right, where it asks for subset, go to Mathematical operators.

Click OK
