World War 1 and 2. The two biggest wars in the history of humanity.

Hunger. More people die of hunger than in the history of humanity. I think like 25,000 a day die of hunger and poverty...each day, wow.

Also viruses, such as Aids, HIV, Bird flue, Mad cow, etc...

Also earth quakes and natural disasters.

And that kids and the young people will be out of control and dissobidient to parents.

Also that humanity will contaminate the earth. Never in the history of humanity has man contaminated the earth so much as we do today.

Also that crimes will be everywhere and that people will have fear over things. People fear today over terrorism all over the world.

    Many more things.

Oh... and that during the last days the true worshippers of God will preach his word all over the eart. The Jehovahs Witnesses are preaching all over the world from house to house in more than 250 countries. Proof? Im sure one has come to your house.

    There is many more signs.

There can be made argument that certain societal actions and world wide events point toward the second coming...however no actual events have happened that could answer your question. The bible says no man can know the time of the return...the rapture could be now or later. Its best to make the best of the time you have here to make an impact for Christ rather than looking for information on a time frame he already told you that you will not know

Matt 24:6 ...And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars...but the end is not yet...

(there have been WW1, WW2, Vietnam War, the current war agains terrorism and countless others after these words were spoken)

Matt 24:7 For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

(Katerina, Rita, Tsunamis, massive earthquakes recently and all through history)

9 Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.

(They did put the apostles to death and the hatred's evident by some of the replies to some faith questions on this board. And was evident throughout history as well.)

Friend, just read the New Testament and you will see it is abundantly clear that the "end times" commenced with the first coming of Christ and will be completed at His second coming.

The return of the Lord is imminent - and has been so for almost two thousand years..

The Lord's admonition to us is: "Watch and pray for you know not the hour...."

    god bless

This is the nation Israel-which "DID NOT EXIST" before 1948. Israel was destroyed by God in 70 A.D. because they rejected their Messiah. They vanished from the earth, and was nonexistent for 1878 years. I would say that this is the most significant happening since the Resurrection of Jesus.

Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones

1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 He caused me to pass among them round about, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and lo, they were very dry. 3 He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord GOD, You know." 4 Again He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.' 5 "Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. 6 'I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the LORD.' "

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise , and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. 9 Then He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.""' 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

You're going to get rather vague answers, answers that could have been given at any point in history since the writing of the Bible. That's why every generation of Christians has had individuals and groups who earnestly believed that the apocalypse was immanent.

It's sad, really, to spend your life focusing on its end.

The biggest and most significant one to date is that Israel became a Nation again in 1948 after 2000 years.

There are many currently getting ready to be fulfilled. We are close to end times.

2 Timothy chapter 3 has a whole host of them.

None, Revelations is so vague that you can either see it in everything, or nothing. Don't worry, no one knows when the end will come.

There is no such thing as 'End Times'. It's the wishful thinking of christian necrophiliacs.
