With the fact being that Ohio State didnt show up today...give me 8 teams that should be in the playoff?

Ok here are my 8 teams starting with Boise State the only undefeated team in Div. 1, followed by LSU, then comes with a healthy Adrian Peterson Oklahoma, and after them Florida who looked unstoppable at times, after them another team with an injured star healthy Ohio State and that star being Teddy Ginn who shows you what he truley meant to OSU on the opening kickoff! Then it would be USC, followed by Louiville and finally rounding out the final eight would be West Virgina because Slaton and White got lazy in the Louiville game and if they would of played with a more will to win they could of been in the National Title Game instead of Florida! And knowing that, and watching how good Florida was makes me sick there is no playoff in College football!

This is assuming the National Championship game has not taken place. This is how it should have looked according to the "BCS" ranking system. ( Our opinions don't really matter )

2. Florida

3. Michigan

4. LSU

5. USC

6. Louisville

7. Wisconsin

8. Boise State

In a eight game playoff bracket this is how it would look.

1-Ohio St.

8-Boise St

4-LSU

5-USC

3-Michigan

6-Louisville

2-Florida

7- Wisconsin

They can send the rest to bowl games.

Eight teams is not a playoff its a BCS playoff. Teams like Boise State would never be in it. A true playoff would involve 16 teams and automatic bids from the major conference champions.

Such a playoff would take 4 or 5 weeks depending on whether or not there were 1 or 2 weeks between the National Championship game. Currently the bowls go on for three weeks anyway.

I would go with obviously Florida, since they did beat Ohio State.

My seven others:

OSU, USC, Louisville, LSU, Boise State, Oklahoma, and Michigan.

Based on thier regular seasons, these are the eight deserving teams. Others could include: Wake Forest, Texas, Nebraska, or Notre Dame.
