Do you feel the government is to blame for our immigration problems?

Below is a video that best describes it.

Yes they are, in my opinion. A guest worker program that would work well for temporary workers could have been incorporated a long time ago. Anyone seeking citizenship could apply for it the same way everyone else does, through proper channels.

Source(s): My Opinion, my ancestors had to become Canadian citizens, then apply to become American citizens. I never heard them complain!

yes just as well as the employers that hire them.. However, if the govt would actually start PUNISHING those that hire illegals... they would stop coming ...some of them.. If they would start being as strict with immigration as some countries are.. problem solved.. but they sit in their BIG offices and draw the big paychecks and could care less that we as Americans are suffering.. They don't care about how many hospitals are closing or anything else.. it doesn't directly affect them.. Until the President or govt is the victim of a violent crime involving illegas.. they will not do anything.. I am so sick of hearing how much it will take to "build a wall".. people don't realize that we spend 3x or more money than that every year in education, welfare, medical care..

Absolutely!! Federal state and local governments are refusing to enforce the laws which would stop this illegal invasion. Not only does the government not enforce the laws, they abet in violating the laws by mandating health care, education and sometimes welfare benefits for the illegals. American politicians will not wake up until they have lowered America to third world status.

However in the final analysis, all Americans must share the blame for the inaction of our politicians and law enforcers. We tolerate their misconduct with our complacency. Talking and complaining are not legitimate forms of action in America. We must stand up and fight for our ideals in order to change erroneous government policy.

Absolutely - Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution says all states will be protected from invasion....every one of the "elected class" take an oath to uphold the Constitution..they conveniently forget this part!

To see the Constitution go to http://www.cnn.com...lou/ Dobbs has posted both the Bill of Rights & the Constitution.

Everyone looks to the government to blame. But it's not just the feds, it's local and state government too. Maybe even more so.

No. The government is not asking the businesses to hire illegals. It's the companies which hire illegals for their benefits and directly encouraging illegals to cross the borders and creating all sorts of problems.
