just something from a soldier to the ones that look down on us

It may take you two minutes to read this, but if you do not take the time to read this you are one of the people this post is talking about.

You take a warm shower to help you wake up.

He goes days or weeks without running water.

Well redneckmp, you will get a few of the idiots that will give you a thumbs down. You know the type and I know you're fighting for their rights to do that.

You know the type, nose all bent out of shape even with the mention of the word war. The same type that would be screaming bloody murder for you to help them if their good ole bud's the terrorist showed up on their door step.

Yes, the same type that will make trips to foreign countries and hug a dictator. Cindy Sheehan and Jimmy Carter come to mind. The same type of person that believes the world owes them a living. The same type of person that believes I should give my hard earned money to those that sit on their A** and watch Oprah.

The same type person that will crawl out from underneath a rock and tell you, you've no right to protect the good ole US of A or walk down the street with a foreign flag and cursing you.

My friend, we're with you and we will fight with you as you protect us at night. Yes, we far out-number the scum that believes we should just chit chat with our enemy's.Those that want to cut and run. Those that have a yellow streak down their backs as far as you can see.

Thank you for your service. Be safe and come home safe.

I read this all the time on myspace, i think its great that people post about the troops. My brother and cousin are both in Iraq. I was in the Army and my husband is in the army. My whole family has been in the service even both of my parents, i feel its something people should do because we all have to fight for freedom one way or another, great post!

Thanks for the post. I got back from an Iraq deployment last year. It's not an easy life being a soldier, and it's something that our society takes for granted. As people continue to post "I hate Bush", or "Oppose the war", they are all to quick to forget that we currently have 100,000+ American citizens in harms way fighting and dying for our safety every day while we enjoy the good life at home. Although the war may be controversial, don't misguide your feelings for our government's actions toward our troops' duty to our citizens. Thanks again for the post.

Being against the war does not equate to not supporting the troops. And before you call me a whiney lib I am a former Marine Infantryman who is lucky enough to have not been put in this war. Stay alive soldier.

  • who doesn't support the troops? that's what I want to know? No one i've ever heard has ever said they didn't support the troops and whoever says that ought to have their *** kicked. I, however, do not support the war or the policies that sent them over there. That's two completely different things, so before you insert that "support the war/support the troops" crap, think again.

No matter what our opinion about the war - whether we should have gone to war or not - our hearts are with the troops. God Bless and our Lord Jesus be with you all and we pray you come home safe.

You support justice. He imposes somebody else's views on the people he is fighting against.
