Which way do you prefer to eat your Spahgetti?

Ever since I was a child, my mother ALWAYS put spahgetti together in one big pot...of course she cooked them separately, but she always mixed everything together..noodles, sauce, meat, spices ALL together..and when I would eat my Aunt' s spahgetti she had the noodles separate and the sauce and meat in another pot...I NOTICED a tremendous difference in taste when one cooks everything together rather to getting the spahgetti separately then mixing it as you eat....lol..SO IM ASKING...which way do you usually eat your spahgetti...and has anyone noticed a difference also?

I decided it tastes better all mixed up, so that's how I've been eating it. Man, now I'm craving spaghetti. Thanks a lot. :( I don't even have garlic bread. ):<--Double sadness--> :( No meat either. I'm going shoppin' mana and will have to get some more ingredients! BTW, crushed red pepper flakes are awesome in spaghetti, in case you haven't tried that yet. :)

For a red sauce, I prefer it separate. That way I can pick most of the meat out. But for alfredo or carbonara it can all be mixed together.

    I don't know why I'm like this.

we do it both ways in my house. My hubby prefers mixed, I prefer separate. The noodles do pick up more of the sauce flavor by premixing, but I like alot of sauce to dip my bread in. Just a matter of personal taste i think.

I like them seperate.. the perfect noodle to me is semi coated in sauce...

I think it tastes better seperate. At least the other peoples ive tried that mix is kinda gross... i guess cuz it gets all runny from the noodles. idk

when I make spaghetti, I keep it seperate the first serving. I like the leftovers to be mixed together & refridgerated overnight. tasty!!!
