My hair is so staticy! Sometimes it sticks to my face! Is there anyway to get rid of the static with things I might already have at home? And I need it to work by tommorrow! Thanx

I personal a hair salon in Soho NYC,,, in the experience that your hair is staticy its because your hair isn't getting adequate mositure-- depending the position you're its wintry climate and thats for sure why-- its dried up,,, you want to modify and use a deep conditioner after washing your hair,, and a short fix is spraying water on your hair with a water bottle- somewhat although- and do not use hair spray because the elements in it is going to reason it to be even more suitable staticky

Try to use babyoil or lotion in your hair, but don't use too much because it`ll make your hair look oily. The right amount to use is probably less than a dime size, but it depends on how much hair you have.
The best bet is to use Biosilk. I use it all the time and it works very well. It puts your hair in control and stays in your hair until its washed out. You can get it at about any hair salon. Its a little pricy but definetely worth it! Ranges from $15-$34.

what kind of hair do you have? this happens to me when its cold and i dont use conditioner. you might be using the wrong shampoo, or you are combing your hair too much. i use a frizz control and a wider comb when i feel my hair is staticy. a dryer sheet works and so does an old fashioned lint brush. good luck!!

Dryer sheets work amazing! Work everytime for me. Just keep a couple in your purse and evertime it starts to get staticy rub it on your hair.

i've heard the dryer sheet thing before, so i'm assuming it must work but be aware that those things are LOADED with funky chemicals that are soo definitely not good for you, your hair or your clothes....i know for a fact that you can purchase an anti-static hair brush that will keep your mane in check! and its a much safer alternative : )

Redken Glass works well for this.
The Bounce dryer sheets work alright, but they tend to not be the cleanest thing to run through your hair.
For future use, try taking flaxseed oil vitamins daily, this will really give you a longterm health cure.
Good luck!

Try wiping a dryer sheet over your hair. It would reduce the static cling.
