If I have pre-marital sex with a girl,which is considered a sin,yet I marry her 2years later,what do I become?
If I have pre-marital sex with a girl, which is considered a sin, yet I marry her 2years later, what do I become? Am I now a saint again? This is what confuses me about God's word. And if the word of God says that God considers a man and a women married once they have sex, why must one get married to eventually have sex? Can one then say that it is all a matter of the heart and a matter of intent? (By no means am I trying to redicule or make fun of the Bible, just asking.)

I am sorry my friend but you are mistaken. One does not become a saint by "doing the right thing" but only through the atonement wrought by the blood of the Lamb. Unless you had previously come to a place of acknowledging Christ as savior, you were not a saint. Gods word is not confusing about the issue of sainthood. I am also not aware of anywhere in scripture that states a man and woman are automatically considered married because they had sex. The two becoming one flesh is something different. Yes, the intent of the heart does play a very big part of it. If the only way into the kingdom of God was to have gotten it right the first time, it would be empty except the King Himself and His angels. You have actually asked some good questions by the way and I don't think they can be misconstrued as an insult to anyone. I know this doesn't fully address all of your questions but it is a starting point and you can weigh it out with whatever else others contribute. have a great day.

Good question! To begin with:
1. Pre-marital sex is forbidden; it is a SIN.
2. If 2 years latter you marry her, you will not be a saint again, but some one who has already sinned. Marriage will not erase what you have already done.
3. One must get married to eventually have SEX, because if it is the otherway around, you will be putting the cart before the horse. We marry to get sex, not have sex with the intention of getting married. What if I change my mind.
4. No it is not a matter of the heart or the intention for two reasons: a) Logic dictates that marriage should be the strait you go through to delve into the ocean of sex. b) having pre-marital sex does not necessarily mean that I have the intention of marriage. Lots of people change their minds for a reason or another. c) Getting married first may eventually end up in having sex. d) If it is the way you think it should be "God considers a man and a women married once they have sex, .." , the door for sin will be left widely open. Marriage is required to avoid falling into that pit.
It is obvious, and there should be no reason for your confusion.
I hope my answer has clarifies the clouds of confusion.

Of course you're not a saint, but you're still a sinner. It is not confusing at all. If you disobey/go against the will of God, then you sin. You should also referrence where you believe it states that once you have sex you are considered married. In Christs time marriage was crucial, and in fact would often be stoned (at least the woman) for having sex prior to marriage. Christ and God have always taught we should honor and respect the law (give unto Ceasar that which is ceasars), which includes marriage law, which states when a man and woman are married. That should be enough.

I think cultural and legal interpretations of marriage and sex don't really make sense. First off, it was so different back in times and the place that the bible stories took place. And yes they had their legal ways to get married, but they weren't as picky about it. These days to be legally married at least legally you have to go through the court systems of the state and get a lincense, even if you had already gone through the ceremony. And not mention people were betrothed and got married around the time they start puberty so that's why hear so much abotu teens and unwed young adults engaging in sexual acts. I know the bible says to wait until marriage, but it's impossible these days, you would literately have to get married so young. ANd I have seen people with that strong belief get married young, before they were 25 or 30. And the culture's different now, there's a good reason why many are waiting to get married at age 30, and it's unrealistic to expect people to wait so long. Yes, I have met people on line who say they are 29, 30, or 40 year old virgins, but this is a very rare occurence.

i imagine the purely section that talks about sex intimately comes from Paul. that child turned right into a pervert. He become obsessed on sex, forbidding something that presented exhilaration or in any respect distracted from the non secular slavery presented through Christianity. yet then it is a guy who killed Christians. Oh, and he under no circumstances met Jesus both. seems kinda unusual thinking he wrote many of the recent testomony.

God says he will make the man & woman 'like one' & not 2 anymore...you get married in front of GOD in church becuase you want him to bless your marriage & make you one! God also say in His Word that when 2 young people cant contain themselves to leave them......& let them get married! Committing adultry is a huge sin & so swearing the Holy Spirit...the last is unforgiven! You are fine & God never judged you my friend! May God bless you & your wife!

In the modern world that has lost the notion of sin and it`s effects this is not deemed wrong,in Gods eyes however it certaintly is wrong,God made us as one family,to Him we are all Brothers and Sisters and He is Father, now if you can see it this way then how can you sleep with your Sister?
Marriage is God`s dispensation to us so that we can live, love and have sexual relations with each other without it being sinful.

There is no such thing as sin, therefore
consensual, pre-marital sex using adequate contraception is your business alone, not anyone's here.
And I'm with Yoda regarding the Bible. When something invites ridicule, it's bad manners not to oblige.

A sin is a sin. You can never change that. But accepting her as your wife through marriage is a food act of repentantance. God is always forgiving to those who truly repent. God bless!

marriage is not intended to satisfy one God or the other, but make a source of income to the religious establishment, keep things tidy for the laws of ones state and reduce the possibility of sex between unaware relatives.
take god out of the equation, it does not exist anyway.
