Yes, I know some people who are always serious. They tell you that you need to grow up when you find humor in life. I don't associate with them much because they are emotionally draining.
Life is real; life is earnest, but life is also what you make of it. I prefer to see the brighter side. Which doesn't mean I ignore my adult responsibilities. I just put a spin on the sour stuff.

Yeah, it's like .......you try to make a joke, and they don't get it. It completely ruins the whole joke. I HATE THAT!!!
