Why do people ask questions on YAHOO! ANSWERS that can easily be searched out via the web?

My reason is simple, a variety of opinions. When I search the web I only get the opinion of the person who created the web site therefore the opinion is biased.

It's ridiculous isn't it? Often a simple and quick google search will yield the desired information... What's worse are those who ask for help with their homework.

Maybe it's boredom, or laziness.
