follow Honda's recommended services per its miles. Ask any Honda service center for a list of services. Follow that, and your Honda will last you to 300k miles.

Plus basics....when oil is changed, look at the underside for leaks, bushings wearing out, boots on CV's going out or ripped, etc. Just keeping up on a car alone will make it last, most don't last cause most nickle and dime the car instead of actually keeping it up.

keep the finish waxed and clean as well. specially the hood and front clip regions as this takes the most abuse. next ensure the trunk and roof are extra waxed as these take the brunt of the sun. remember, you can never over wax a car, even at one coat per day for every day of the year, you cannot over wax a car.

You are on the right track. Get a copy of the recommended service intervals and follow them religiously and you might have a chance. Even at that, if you drive a million miles a year, no amount of maintenance will extend 2 years, you'll just have to fix what goes wrong and keep on going.

The best advice for you on this one is maintainance, preventive maintainance with a little more maintainance to top it all off with. one thing people tend to over look is to wash their vehicle regularly, not just wash it, but get the hose under the fenders and anywhere underneath where mud and wet sand can hide and promote rusting. Another way to make it last is to not let anyone else use it.
