I pick up spent cases everywhere I go where people shoot. Here's one I picked up and didn't know what to make of it until I cleaned it. I have seen setback primers and some that blow completely out in semi-autos, but not like this. Note you can see the anvil very clearly.

According to NTSB there have been 1089 crashes snce 1-1-09. 218 (20%) were homebuilt. Of the 218, 56 (26%) were fatal, compared to 17% of factory built.
