Why? ?We as humans are of the flesh we wil sin,. Do not repete the same sin once you have figured out it is a sin, and you will be forgiven if you ask. Live in the Lord. Help people, care, feed the hungry if you have extra. Yes we will all sin, some perhaps more than others. Just remember the Lord Jesus Crist died for our sins. So we could be saved. Respect that. In that context, it would seem, he was shocked at the appearance and used a religous exclaimation to denote his shock. No mal-intent was shown, therefore no sin.

While it may not be a serious sin however the holy name of Jesus should be loved and respected and not used either as a swear word or for the amusement of others.
