Good Car CD Player to buy??!?!?

Could anyone tell me if this is a decent piece of kit. Any bad points?

looks to me like a cheap piece of crap knock off. those usually last about as long as it takes to install them.

when it comes to electronics like that, you are always better off getting the read deal. so it might cost more, but it will look better, last longer, and most importantly, sound better.

mY opinion. I have a 1450 watt system in my car I built, and it wasnt cheap. the funny thing, is mine is so much louder and sounds better than these kids that buy those 2000 watt chepo amps.

Quality means everyhting in stereo systems.

Source(s): started installing them when i was 17, and now 31.

Pioneer is about the best you can buy, although you can get Car CD players from some of the connoisseur home makes such as Nakamichi and Harman/Kardon, these are the best money can buy, but you pay for it and they aren't readily available on the high street, specialist only! I'd go with Pioneer, hook it up to decent speakers, and you've got a winner of an ICE system. The one on Ebay looks a little cheap and nasty, I don't know if I would go with that, you might find it to be unreliable, it won't be to the quality of a known top brand. Good luck on whatever you choose!

Just make sure it is MP3 compatible, 10 discs on one cd/r is perfect for in the car. It means you can leave all your originals safely on the shelf at home where they belong and not clutter up your car. My head unit is a Sony which sounds good but at 50x4 watts it was a little under powered. I ended up fitting an amp and a sub.

i herd the one you have on the page is actually very good, plus it has all the options, but if i were you i would go with alpine stereo, it sounds the best and also it has nicer speakers.
