you may have an abortion if you want

Its called morals or the lack of. Reach deep down to your moral core and tell everyone which is right and moral and which is not of your above examples. This is why we are becoming a "police state in the making" as you put it. We refuse to see right and wrong. We all know what the difference is we just refuse to see it because it has been twisted by our own political Representatives. Any attempt to ask people to be more moral is immediately shot down.

You're right. The freedom of the govnerment to catch criminals ends where my right of privacy and free speech begins
