How do you get the dye from a wax candle off a wood table?
I never burned the candle. I just had it sitting on my wood table with a wreath around. When I picked it up, I saw the red dye left on the wood. Is there a safe way to clean that dye without ruining my wood?

try placing a damp cloth over the spot and and then place an iron on it. I know it works for water stains

It depends on how deeply the stain has penetrated. If you have a veneer finish its possible that its just on the suface, Try spraying windex on it. Allow the windex to sit for no longer than 2 minutes or it may cause bubbling. The dye should wipe clean. If this doesn't work its possible the stain has gone deeper.
