Is It Bad For Me To Be A 15 Year Old Virgin?

I can unequivocally insure you that that is not true. I teach and consult on sex education. Most of my students are between 14-16 years old. Every year, I teach over 250 students and I take an anonymous poll where they can answer honestly about lifestyle choices they make. This particular year, 93% of my students have not had sex. MOST people your age are not having sex---regardless of what they say or what they want you to think or do. What I find most interesting is that your friends care about your sexual activities as if it's something they should have an opinion on?

No it's not true. You are still a teen. I'm 13 gonna be 14, and I'm a virgin. Your to young to loose you Virginity.

And you don't want to do something you will regret.

Cause you will regret it, cause you could become pregnant, and then you will have to drop out of school, and be a mother at the age of 15. Which means no hanging with friends, you will have to take your child everywhere with you. You'll have no fun what so ever. I learned all this in health class. And well...

No, it isn't true. You are a smart girl to question your friends' logic. Be glad you haven't done it yet. There is plenty of time down the road when you are more ready and are with the right person. It will only be your first time once, so don't waste it. Your friends do not know what they are talking about. You are lucky. Stay strong and hold out for a while yet. There's no rush.

its never bad to be a virgin - especially at 15! If someone is telling you that they're either lying, not your friend or are delusional.

Just be happy with your sexual journey as it slowly unfolds. Remember you can never get it back so don't go throwing something so precious away so quickly. Stay cool :o)

Why not save yourself for marriage. That would make getting married and commitment special as God intended. There is a lot more self respect and respect for the person you marry if you do that. Do listen to friends who have to be afraid of getting pregnant and getting pregnant or std's or AIDS. Why ruin your life at 15?

NO WAY!!! okay first of all i dont know where ur living, but at age 15 in the US, its illegal not to be virgin.....second, ur friend is probably saying that because shes scared that she may have made a bad decision, and wants u to join her....dont do it....loose ur virginity to that special guy u wanna spend ur life with, not some guy who is either using u or who ur using.

Im about to be 17 and that i nonetheless were given mine. i imagine of my virginity as a sacred component. no longer rationalization for faith yet reason it become very almost stolen from me, from sexual abuse and attemptes rape. So in user-friendly words do it in case you want to. no longer reason some hormone crazed 16 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous boy needs it. If he loves then you definately he will wait till eventually you're saying your waiting, no longer him declaring your waiting. strong success:)

No, that is not true. Your 'friends' are giving you a load of crap, likely to cover up the fact that they blew their virginity on someone who wasn't really worth it.

There's nothing wrong with staying a virgin until you marry, and there is very much right with it. Virgins don't have to worry about sexually transmitted diseases. they don't have to worry about HIV or AIDS, they don't have to worry about genital herpes, and they don't have to worry about getting pregnant. And being a virgin is a pretty special gift to give your husband.

Definitely not a bad thing!!! 15 is still very young and sex is a big deal, no matter what your friends tell you. Do NOT let ANYONE pressure you into doing something you do not want to do or are not ready to do!!

That is such a lie! One thing you must remember, peer pressure is really awful at your age. But, you have to stay strong and be confident in yourself. Don't lose your virginity "to be with the in crowd". You lose it when you are ready. 15 is way too young in my age. Sex is a very complicated thing and it has adult consequences. And you definitely don't want to deal with that!
