Why is it that when i slam my finger into the door i start to shake it?

    Pain causes nerves to fire impulses throughout the body, which make the body react. Asking why you shake your finger when you slam it in a door, is like asking why your hand moves away from fire when you touch it. Its evolutionary adaptive impulses caused by the overfiring of nerve cells.

    probably to increase blood flow to that area of your body. your body senses injury there, and it wants to try and repair it by sending materials through the blood
