Linux/Windows dual partion. Formatting problem?

I have a WindowsXP/Fedora6 Dual partition harddrive. Now I tried to format the drives and reinsall Windows but when I try to boot into my Windows XP CD no installation screen appears. This happens every time I install dual OS and to resolve I will connect the harddisk to another computer and remove the partions using that computers disk management utility. Can any one tell me an option to resolve it in another method.

It may be because the linux bootloader is being used and it cannot get into the windows disk. Try having a look at killdisk which is a program you put on a floppy and it really erases the information on your hard drive, unlike the windows partitioner which doesn't really work. After running that, you can reinstall windows.

Try installing Linux first (or Windows)

What would help also is the specs for your computer and versions of OS's youre trying to install.

I think your method is the best, because that will work for sure.

Nobody here can exactly tell you what to do, since they are not at your computer.
