Which brand of computer is better HP or Gateway?

HP is very high quality plus they are a much more stable company than gateway right now.

I have an HP computetr and a Gateway laptop and really I think they are both good. I kind of like HP better because it's a lot faster and it works really well Gateway can be really slow and that can get annoying but I like them both but you should probably go for the HP.

Gateway and HP are both good reliable brands. While HP does have a higher brand reputation people will tend to lean toward it, but having a higher brand reputation doesn't always mean better performance, or quality... both companies are currently building good pc's that will work fine with the average mainstream user.

Of-couse people are goin to say HP, but if you want memory and lasting longer, and less serious problems get the gateway.

My Gateway treats me just fine. I'm using Windows XP & have had no problems. It's not slow either. Mine is faster than the computers at my local library & they spent a fortune. I spent peanuts.

Ive had my gateway pc for a year (got in jan 06) and ive had no probs...also hav 17" gateway lcd monitor....oh and did i mention i got it very cheap? £499 for pc with pentium d 2.8ghz, 320gb hdd, 1gb ram etc....a hp wud be much more expensive
