South Park episode?

The episode is called, "Here Comes the Neighborhood"

It is a joke on the old racist line that when a black family would move into the neighborhood, the property value of the neighborhood would drop, there for, 'there goes the neighborhood'... The joke of the episode is that the rich families that move to South Park are all black and their new expensive homes actually increase property value and make it unaffordable for the regular people of South Park to live there.

The "lower case 't'" is a joke on racism also. The Ku Klux Klan in the past, have burned a cross in the front yards of people's homes in order to intimidate them. The people in South Park aren't upset because of the race of the new members of the community, actually they never even mention race. They are upset that their home costs have gone up. As viewers, we can see that all the new arrivals to the town are black and can see the similarities between the actions of the the townspeople and the Klan, but the people in South Park are oblivious to this.

Also, they all dress up as 'ghosts' in order to scare the rich people into leaving, again TOTALLY oblivious to the fact that their 'ghost' costumes are in fact the same design and shape as a Klansman's attire. (Which in fact, the Klan's tradition of wearing robes and hoods, were in fact a scare tactic as much as they were a way of hiding their identity.)

The ONLY person in the entire episode who ever expresses any sign of racism is Mr. Garrison. Just as the episode ends, his line is purposely cut in order to get a laugh... "At least we got rid of all the NI..."

The episode is a CLASSIC example of South Park using comedy and outlandish situations to make a real statement on our society.

I think it has to do with the KKK who used to burn crosses on black peoples yards as a sign of racism. That show is funny at times but is incredibly barbaric. Yeah and it had Will Smith right? That's what they were trying to get across. Very racial and inappropriate.

Word of advice: Don't try to explain South Park, embrace it.

I don't think that South Park makes much sense some times. Don't focus too much on it lol.
