If the holy spirit were God, why did Jesus say that there were things that ONLY the Father knew? (Matt. 24:36) If the holy spirit were God wouldn't it know too?
Also, if the holy spirit were God, why doesn't it fully know the Father and the Son? At Matt. 11:27, Jesus said: "No one fully knows the Son BUT the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father BUT the Son." If the holy spirit is God, why doesn't it know the Father or the Son?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Spirit.
In the beginning Elohim created... The Spirit hovered over the water. This Spirit is part of the Creator.
The Creator, Elohim Is Father, Word & Holy Spirit. Also, examples of the Spirit being God is throughout the OT & the NT.
The Holy Spirit seals us when we are born again and leads us into all Truth about God.

Spirit is in the Greek New Testament the word "pneuma." This word is more generally rendered "breath." Here is the dictionary definition of it:
wind, breath, things which are commonly perceived as having no material substance; by extension: spirit, heart, mind, the immaterial part of the inner person that can respond to God; spirit being: (evil) spirit, ghost, God the Holy Spirit
God is described AS spirit, the same word in the original language.
John 4:23 “But a new time is coming. In fact, it is already here. True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. They are the kind of worshipers the Father is looking for. 24 “God is spirit. His worshipers must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
So we are left with the personified Spirit which is seen DOING many things in the Bible, and was associated with God before creation. My best guess is that we are given things which our finite, time and space limited minds can understand. We are not capable of understanding the true nature of God since it is so far beyond out perceptions and experience. There is some "part" of God which we know as the Spirit. This "personality" performs certain tasks for God and for those humans who serve God.
To argue that the Spirit is not divine gets crazy since God IS spirit rather than physical. At the same time, we don't have a clear identity of the Spirit "within" God.

Acts 5:3-4 (King James Version)
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
Ananias lied to the Holy Ghost. Peter says that Ananias lied "unto God".
Add it up.

Acts 5
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

i was going to explain this to you, best if you do the research on your own; do a study of the original language... Elohim used in the first part of Genesis, a plural form of the word G-d; perhaps trinity if you are Christian, i don't want to give out any sites... this is the type of thing you need to find out and decide for yourself

NOPE! He is a messenger FROM God. He moved and God spoke in the Creation. He has been there since the beginning. He was sent to man to dwell within us after Jesus rose from the grave.
