My friends and I used to go to this little Mexican restaurant and they would give free chips and salsa..so we would go and order water (free also) and eat chips and salsa..then leave a $2 tip and leave.

I hate that. I don't know if this answers your question, but I'm a waitress and I have seen people eat 1/2-3/4 of their food and then have it sent back b/c it was too cold, too well done, or too rare. I always go over to my tables and make myself available while they are eating. I hate when they wait to the end.

Then, of course, they get new free food!! Cheap and Tacky.

Well I'm not as bad as some of the people I've read about in these answers, but I consider myself pretty cheap. When I eat out I usually eat half of what they give me (their portions are usually way too big anyway) and bring the rest home; that way I get two meals for the price of one! Or sometimes my wife and I will split a dish. Sure saves a lot of money!

Once we saw 3 teens go to Taco Bell. They bought drinks and said there was bugs in the drink. So the man gave them a new cup. But they still kept the cup with the"bug". so when they were leaving they gave the drink to a friend.
