What is the best way to conceal a yawn [without being rude] in a Lecture?
Without having to duck under a bench or some other object.
The Thing is I feel really sleepy in class.

Put your hand over your mouth with the fingers sort of one on top of each other curled and seperated a little bit. Try to learn your arm on something if you can and sort of stroke your lip a bit. It you do that while you yawn and you do it just it will work. Also don't crunch up your eyes when you yawn.

that's rude to yawn loudly no count whose corporation you're in, and to do it interior the path of a lecture is so rude, yawning is catching and could reason a lot of human beings to yawn, and the majority see this as boredom, or tiredness, the instructor will think of you're bored along with his lectures or you have been unsleeping a million/2 the evening. that's no longer continually this way because it is likewise a brilliant lung exercising. yet there's a time and place for each little thing as i'm specific you comprehend.

this is a very interesting question. I say ust hide behind a book and let the yawn out. I get sleepy in class too, but my lecture classes are so large that yawning wouldn't even be noticeable.

I can yawn and keep my mouth closed, but I seem to yawn more frequently. I think that it is because a yawn is supposed to send oxygen to the brain to wake you up, but by keeping your mouth closed when you yawn, this is prevented.
But it will help you to avoid thinking you are being rude I guess.

Just go ahead and yawn silently. I do not consider it rude. It is one of the reflexes which is very normal and natural. No one should take it personally. I am an attorney, if someone yawns when I am speaking, I don't mind it.

Keep your lips closed and you can yawn in the back of your mouth without it showing too much. Cover your mouth with your hand for full effect.

Cover with your mouth with your notebook. Take deep breaths to get more oxygen; that should prevent yawns.

You can yawn without opening your mouth. You may have to clench your jaw but it works.
