Getting a black spotted female Dalmatian in May. Can't think of any good names. Suggestions?
She will be around 8 weeks old and black spotted.
No typical Dal names (Spot, Dot, Dotty, Dal, Dally etc.). No typical dog names (Sadie, Jesse, Sasha, Belle, Sam, Lady, etc.).
Feel free to make any suggestions !
I want a name that has nothing to do with a Dal's spots.
A name that might mean something in another language (e.g: Maya = mother in Greek).
FEMALE NAME ONLY.
1 word - no more than 8 letters - easy to say and pronounce - a name that won't make me look like an idiot when calling her name - no prissy/girly names (e.g: Princess Vicki, Queen Laila etc.).
I know I'm picky with names but you get 10 points if I decide to name her your suggestion :-D

Wait until you get her. She may have a particular physical characteristic or manerism that will lend itself to a name. Also, once you interact with her and are able to see her personality, the right name will probably just come to you. Most of my pets have just about named themselves that way....=)

Daisy is what my daughter's family named their Dalmatian. She is so cute. Mandy May, Pumpkin, or Suzie Q. Here is the best one "VALENTINE". You are getting her around Valentines Day, she is as sweet. Maybe the name will encourage her to be as sweet and well loved as the name. Have fun with her. Love pets.
