Should I take my daughter to her regular doctor or to the sports medicine clinic for her sprained ankle?
It's not serious.

I would take her to her regular Doctor if the sprain isn't that bad. If the Doctor feels that it is worse then what you thought, then he might refer you to go to the Sports Medicine Clinic. Good Luck.

Generally, you should go to the regular doctor. If he/she decides that some sort of therapy is necessary, you would then be referred to a sports medicine clinic. If it is not a serious sprain, the doctor will most likely suggest wrapping and resting the ankle.

i would take her to the family doctor first. if he thinks it needs further evaluation he will send you to a specialist. family doctors are pretty up to date on all these sorts of these these days .
