There is a steep hill where I work and we had about an inch of snow. I was following a Cherokee up the hill in my Subaru and the Jeep was fishtailing. It almost didn't get up the hill!! I was about to drive around it. But didn't have to. I wouldn't buy it. Not to mention the gas milage must be rediculous,15mpg, if your lucky.

I'm sorry about the way others have answered you - unfortunately "thinking positive" or a warm bath isn't going to solve a depressive state. I'd talk to a counselor, talk to your doctor, and also find a sympathetic friend or family member who can be in on what exactly happened, and how you're reacting to it. That way you have a "safe person" who can keep you from doing the wrong things - call them when you need to.

While it's possible that the owner just wants "to get rid of it quickly" it is more likely that something is actually wrong with it.

People today are bastards and don't care about you.. be careful. No one is going to watch-out for you other than yourself and loved ones.

Honestly the whole deal leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Don't even Carfax it... just pass on it.

    Careful, and good luck.

Sure, buy a extra transmission and rear end. Grand Cherokees can't keep rear ends.

There has to be something really wrong with it, or something weird going on with it.

Check it out, spend some money to have it gone through, and check the title if you decide to buy it before you pay for it.

Could be one hell of a deal, but something sounds off......

Way too cheap. Check Edmund's for retail value.

I got a value of between $3300.00 (low) to $5100.00 (high) average of $4375.00

Have it checked out by a mechanic before you do anything. Also run a carfax report and see if it was in an accident.

I, myself would hold a bleary eye to this one, sounds just too good to be true. Run it by carfax.com and see what they have to say. Just remember Caveat Emptor "Let the buyer beware"

take to a trusted mechanic and find out. Ask to see the maintenance records also It does sound too good to be true but you should find out for sure- it might be the best purchase you ever made

Get it checked out for obvious and expensive repairs that might be needed.
