Im desperate!! Does anyone know where I can seek help with drug addiction?

I'm 25 yrs. old and I'm addicted to crystal meth. I have been using heavily for nearly 3 yrs. Prior to that, I had been using i=other drugs as well. Drugs like....Ecxtacy, cocaine, pot, and worst of all....Meth. I have completely changed as a person and I no longer have dreams or goals. I was very academic in school and very bright. Meth has taken all that away. Inside I am screaming for help, but outside I pretend I have control of my life. That is clearly not the case. I've hurt so many people and lost all my friends. I have no ambition, and low self esteem. Those who love me are extremely concerned and I need help. I need guidance and support before it's too late. Why do I use soo many drugs? How do I quit? I need to speak with someone. I feel severely depressed and I am begging for any information that can help me get my life back.

I went to Mission Teens instead of going to jail. Mission Teens is a Christian alternative to rehabilitation. There are currently 13 centers across the United States. Their purpose is to provide hope to the hopeless through Jesus Christ. The program is absolutely FREE. If you are desperate it is the place to go. I went to try to avoid being sentenced to prison. What I found was a new way to live. Jesus gave me another chance at life. I am still drug free after completing the program in July of 2004. I am not perfect and I still have my struggles but God has made an awesome, dramatic change in my life. Thanks to his grace, I was sentenced to probation and I will be graduating college in May 2007!!

The program is entirely run by graduates of the program. Everyone there was once where you are now. You will be among people who understand exactly what you are going through.

You can find information on this program at

Here are a few of the numbers for three of the centers: 870-573-6414 , 563-547-3286, 931-484-9935.

I know that I cannot do it alone. I need God's help.

    Source(s): http://missionteens.com/ It is FREE.

i know too many people that lost their lives to meth -- would you consider rehab? if you have family that cares about you i suggest you try to get their help asap. its now or when you get busted for posession or are in the wrong place at the wrong time when the police show up -- or worse case dead. i have had friends in all 3. just had another one die after several years of not using. he was 33.

there are numerous pills and products that are supposed to help. just do a web search and they will pop up.

heres some links and lots of hopes and wishes you can put it all behind you and move forward again soon.

Hmmm sounds familar.... I know where you're at. Do you want to quit? Do you know why you use? These are all things that we have to ask ourselves. Without knowing the answers to this we won't do anything but help a symptom and not the problem. Keep in mind you are still the bright person you have always been. If you need to talk you can email me about this.

you can get help ofcourse, but you didn't say where you reside ... if you don't want to check in a rehab center, look for a doctor that specializes in drug addiction. they can help wean you off from all those drugs. it would've been helpful if you mentioned your location. email me
