    A regular letter or greeting card sized envelope 1 oz or less in weight costs one .39 cent stamp anywhere in the U.S.

    One standard stamp, 39 cents,will do for a small letter (up to two sheets of paper). Quick send it before they raise the rates again.

    A regular letter or greeting card sized envelope weighing 1 ounce or less in weight will cost you one $0.39 cent stamp to anywhere in the U.S.

    Since you're talking of a "small" envelope, you should be fine.

    Stamps depends on weight. If it's just a letter, 1 stamp should be fine.

    1 $.39 stamp should do the trick. Go to the counter at the post office if you are unsure.

    If it is just a normal letter light weight it will be just one stamp $0.39 thats all.
