Do you think that Sponsored / Official Questions should be dropped?
This is a service for 'the people' is it not? There are quite a few 'sponsored' or 'official' questions in Yahoo! Answers these days. Sainsbury, Think! and many other politicians and 'celebrities'.

Yes; celebrities only do stuff like this to showcase their pet causes. As far as I'm concerned they can pay the money to have an advertisement on TV; Y/A is, as you say, for "the people", most of whom can't afford to put their questions or issues on TV.
