If you ve been swimming or dunked your head under the water or got water in your ear canal some other way such as a shower, you may have water traped in your ear canal. Try laying your head down flat on your ear and try to drain the ear canal. If this doesnt work, try lying in a bath tub and hold your nose and dunk your head under water. When you raise back up, turn your head and drain the water out of your ear. This will pull the water out of your ear canal that is now traped. Also you could have an ear infection which is causing fluid buildup which is about the same effect as water. If it is an infection, which would be my first guess, you need an antibiotic like penicillin or some other antibiotic. Of course dont take penicillin or any other antibiotic until you talk to a docter because alot of people are allergic to penicillin and other antibiotics..If none of this works you may need a cat scan which is like an xray that would let the doctors see whats going on. Ihope you are better soon.

At the minimum, it could be a wax buildup and it's putting pressure on the stirrups in your eardrum. This would cause a vertigo sensation and not cause fever. The problem is, it could later develop into a full blown ear infection which you really don't want. I suggest going to your doctor, let him/her check it to make sure it's nothing more serious, and if it is indeed a buildup, they can flush it out quite easily and you will be relieved of this problem.

    Best wishes!

Could be as simple as wax build up in your ear canals, but could also be early signs of infection of the inner ear. You should see a doctor to get it treated either way before it gets any worse.

Maybe you have allergies, a post nasal drip, and they are draining into your ear canal try some Claritan D for about a week and see if that doesnt clear up your ears!

I had to lie down one day the whole afternoon, and it was just water in my ear.lay on one side and you will probably feel the water finally trickle out.See a Doc if it does not.You may need to get irrigated because of wax build up,etc...

It could possibly be an inner ear infection. You need to see a doctor.

And its also a disease in adults, not just children - my mom had it..... Good luck!

Both my daughter and I had this within the past few weeks.

She had a cold, I did not.

Give it some time and if it doesn't clear up, check with your doctor.
