Cannot Access Geocities Homepages from Telewest?

Hi

I cannot access any website prefixed http://uk.geocities.com/ keep getting "The page cannot be displayed"

I'm using Telewest, my sister on BT can however see the site no problems.

I have virtually eliminated any possible causes on my PC.

Are there issues with Telewest?, if so any ideas when they will be resolved

    ok try going to start ,run in box type command it will open dos

    in dos

    type tracert www.uk.geocities.com

    loads of stars and timeouts in the first numbers is telewest connection if none but loads in half more to geocities means its the geocities servers.

    turning of your modem for few seconds and switching back can fix slow connection and also re booting the pc can help.

    no there is no prob with telewest, it must be something to do with your setting's, firewall or internet explorer, try adding the site on the allowed list.
