  • Fiat Punto Fan?

    Hi

I have just bought a fiat punto (2002 Reg) and the fan kicks in on very short journeys (<1-2 miles), although the temperature warning light stays off and there is no way the car has got 'properly hot' for such a short journey.

Is it just a punto 'feature' for every journey or is something wrong

Also there is no temperature gauge on the dashboard controls, is that normal

    Many thanks

  • Visual Basic ActiveX Combo Wont Update?

    Hi

I have a Visual Basic ActiveX control containing a single combo box

this is bound to an ADO DC.

The Combo box correctly sees the data from the ADODC control

however if I change the value in the combo box the value reverts to the original.

I can't get the combo to update the underlaying recordset.

The ADODC is set up as Optimistic Locking, ReadWrite, Dynamic Cursor. The database is not read only.

    Thanks in advance

  • List Background?

In HTML, is there a way to create a list <UL> and have a different JPG file

as the background for each 'row'.

I can use <IMG SRC> to add an image to the row, but not as a background

I don't really want to resort to a seperate <DIV> for each row.

    Thanks

  • What \ Wot Not Shop - Avon?

Does anyone know the location of the "What Not" \ "Wot Not" shop near Yate \ Westerleigh Village in Avon.

Apparently its a place where you can buy things from other people, a bit like a market.

Postcode would be best, but decent directions from, say Kingswood would be fine.

    Thanks in Advance.

  • It's a kind of magic!?

Earlier this year on British terresterial T.V. (possibly channel 4 or 5) there was a young amateur magician that travelled from his home in Glasgow to London via the train where he did a few magic tricks in pubs and on the street.

Can anyone tell me his stage name.

    Thanks in advance
