Very easy. First pull up as much of the wax as you can with your fingers. Then take a paper towel or some plain brown paper like from grocery bags and lay it over the wax. Then run an iron on medium setting over the paper or paper towel. The wax will start to absorb into the paper. Repeat with fresh paper until all the wax is up.

This also works if you get wax on your clothes.

better of success with this one. ill have an interest to work out what human beings propose. that's a confusing because of the fact the wax desires melting or dissolving. i anticipate you are able to not bring up the carpet up & have already picked off what you are able to by ability of hand.. i'm afraid i do no longer know of any solvents which will paintings on wax, yet possibly a steam air purifier ought to help. It won't do away with the wax, however the warmth must be adequate to soften the wax& enable it bypass added down into the carpet so as that that is hidden.

    1. Set iron on low setting. You don't want to melt the carpet fibers.

    2. Place paper (paper bag, printer paper, any type of paper will do) over the wax.

    3. Iron over offending wax. The paper will absorb the wax. Keep moving the paper until all of the wax has been absorbed.

This process will not hurt your iron.

The paper bag and warm iron works well. If you still have some wax left, try this thing called Wax Remover. You should be able to get it at Bed Bath and Beyond.
