    The digits of the multiples, other than multiples of 11, sum to 9. The digits sum to 18 for 9*11, 9*22, 9*33, ...

    [Note: The digits of 9*101, 9*202, 9*303, etc. sum to 18, also. Check multiples of 110: 9*110, 9*220, etc. Patterns, abound.]

    For multiples from 45 to 90, the digits are the reverse of lower multiples:

    09,18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90.

    Nine is a magic number. If you multiply any number by nine and then add the digits of the resulting number, then you will get the nine itself. Little confusing? Well lets take an example. 9*4=36

    add 3+6 = 9. Similarily - 9*7=63, 6+3 = 9.

    2 18

    3 27

    4 36

    5 45

    nope, don't see too much of a pattern. jk

    8/9=.88888888888

    7/9=.77777777777

    etc. Now that's a pattern!

    25 x 25 = 625

    35 x 35 = 1225 etc

    that's a beautiful pattern

    2x3 = 6 'plus' 25 625

    3x4 = 12 'plus' 25 is 1225

    .

    .

    up to 95 x 95 comes in very handy

    Not only do the digits in the product always equal nine, but a handy trick is to use your fingers to find the product.

    Pick any one of the equations. say 7x9=63.

    Starting with your pinky on your left hand count seven to the right (you will end up at the pointer finger of your right hand).

    Fold that finger down, and you will have the answer to the problem--63 (6 fingers to the left of the pointer; three to the right)

    It works with all of them to 10x9

    If you add the numbers together in the answer they will always equal time.

    Example: 2x9=18 1+8=9

    12x9=108 1+8=9

    The rule is in multiplying by 9, the sum of the digits (answer) is always 9.

    starting with 9*1, the left digit counts up from 0 to 9, while the right digit counts down from 9 to 0

    the product of any number multiplied by 9 will also have the sum of 9

    9X2= (18) 1+8=9

    9X3=(27) 2+7=9

    9X14=(126) 1+2+6=9
