What are some good playstation one games? No rpgs please.?

What kind of games are you looking for? Grand Turismo is the best racing Sim, A good (but short) rhythm game is Parapper the Rapper. What some consider to be the greatest 2D side scroller of all time, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, I highly reccomend that one. Resident Evil 2 or 3 for survival horror or Silent Hill. Crash Bandicoot 3 or Legacy of Kain soul reaver for adventure, or even Tomb Raider 1 or 2. Street Figher Alpha 3 is a good figher. Then you've always got Madden for Football. Metal of Honor is a good FPS. Also check out sites like gamerankings.com to check out what some of the top rated games were.

It's a shame you said no rpgs, 'cause i could have rattled off a few dozen must-haves. I used to be an avid PS1 collector, but a hurricane called Katrina wiped it all away. Anywho, let me tell you about some non-rpgs.

I loved Syphon Filter and it's two sequels. If you're not sure if it's your cup of tea, but you're willing to try, 2 was the best.

Metal Gear Solid was and is still a great game. The graphics have become dated, but I'm sure you're not too concerned with that.

PS1 also had a bunch of great fighting games, with so many previously Japanese only games being ported over. The King of Fighters series was great, but I used to have a game called JoJo's Bizarre Adventure that was pretty BA - especially if you like Japanezy stuff.

Crash Team Racing was a great kart racer.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile is a classic.

I was also a fan of both Tenchu games.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.

Most of the Mega Man X games. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Metal Slug. UmJammer Lammy & PaRappa for weird rythm games. The first Driver. All of the Resident Evils. Parasite Eve II. Castlevania: SOTN.

initial d...it is in jap but u can get the translation from websites or capcom vs snk or need for speed underground or even nba live...but i think now most games r meant more for playstation 2
