Ugh! Dreaming about the ex....again?
I broke up with my ex about 5 years ago. I had a dream last night about him. The dream is that he died and I was a complete mess. I think in my dream we weren't together either, but I was still VERY upset. I woke up actually crying. What do you think this means? I hope it's not my mind trying to tell me that he really is dead or about to die!
No way to call him...this was years ago and I know he has changed his number.

I think death symbolizes a rebirth or new beginning in a dream, not an actual physical death. It could be that you have finally came to terms with the separation and although it made be sad you have accepted that each of you has entered a new phase in life

There is a reason for a dream but it is not necessarily the obvious one. You get things that you put into your sub-conscience, mostly problems you would rather not deal with. These often blend into one in your dreams, and thus they become really weird sometimes. I used to dream I could fly by flapping my arms quickly, but I was always flying into high power cables. What would a psychiatrist make of that!
Probably that I was trying to make an impression but hitting snags. I think this is nature's way of relieving a few lbs per square inch in your head.
But if that is really you in the picture, then I can make all your bad dreams go away!

I think that maybe he was just on your mind, deep in the back of your mind, and since it's a bad subject, it turned into a nightmare. I hate dreaming about ex's. Give it a couple of days, you'll feel better.

I too dream about my ex, or should I say have nightmares about him. Can't figure out why either, cause I sure never think about him when I'm awake. Maybe it's out subconcious reminding us what a mistake those relationships were so we don't make them again.
May you have sweet dreams tonight!

i think that you are just subconsiously mourning your break up, because of you never took the time to do that properly when you guys called it quits.
I once dreamt of an ex of 3 years, and it was so.... weird! because of he currently resides in another country and was, the last time that I heared of him, planning get maried.
I dreamt that we 'picked' up from where w left off, but the weirdest part, was that I no longer had feelings for him( in that dream).

Hi, I've got a friend who had a very difficult childhood. Adnd strangely enough, when I dream about her and I phone her the next day, something is wrong.
I believe in the power of the mind. Maybe he is thinking about you, trying to tell you something. You should call him and quick!

I've always heard that when you dream that someone dies, it means they are getting married. Could it be that he's found someone and your mind is telling you to let go?

death is not always a bad thing in a dream, at least that is what the interpretation says, but you might just be wondering what is happening with him
