Castration of rapists?

Even though they say rape is not about the sex I say if they are a repeat offender then castrate them!! if they don't have the tool it may be a little harder to do the crime! people don't seem to realize the devastation it brings on a person, mentally scarred forever. I'm not sure if it would heal the rapist but Id bet it would make the victim feel allot better especially if they were handed the instrument to do it!!!! I do not feel that casteration is punishment for rape, rape is not about sex, its about controle so if you casterate a man for rape then he would just find some other form of violence to use against a victom.

I,m not sure what the answer would be to approperate punishment for rape, because studies have shown that even with conselling offenders often do it again, especially phedofiles

so to me punishment should be sevear maybe if you are convicted a second time death by legal injection would do, that may deter the offender, knowing that if you are going to die you may think twice before you use sex as power.

First of all, are you talking about chemical castration or physical castration?

Secondly, since rape is NOT a sex crime, but a POWER crime, and the power trip all comes from the mind, what is to stop a rapist from using a foreign object as opposed to the penis to rape?

Yes. I believe that rapists and child molesters should be castrated so that they will never be able to hurt another person. yes that will stop them from doing it ever again. i mean come on stop with this not allowed to use the interner or leaving the state end it right then and there castrate them and i gurentee you the rape crime will go down 60% at the least that area is a man's pride and castrating will take out his pride

Yes, rapist should be castrated. Because raping is like killing, except for when you rape someone you hurt them physically and mentally.

Yes I think they should. I worked at a jail, and you see Rapists come in, do their time and leave and then...they are back for raping someone else. If we can kill a man for murder, we can castrate one for rape!
