Will my skin become dependent on a moisturizer?

I am using a great olive-oil Q10 moisturizer. But will my skin become dependent on it and thus age faster if I stop using it? I mean faster than it would have if I had never started? In other words, does moisturizer change the way my skin produces its own moisture?

no . moisturiser only stops the moisture from evaporating from ur skin.

No, moisturizer does not change the way your skin "produces moisture". By law (FDA regs) cosmetic products are forbidden to affect the structure and function of the body, which includes the skin.

Ur skin is dependent on moisturiser anyway. If u start using anti-ageing/firming creams early on then u shouldnt have a problem.

Yes, but according to my wife, it only takes effect once you hit forty
