Why are the British classed as animal lovers?

When you read, 'the british are the best for loving their animals' does it make you wonder how we have the title, when it seems like most days one reads in the paper about animal abuse, Do we still deserve this title?

Well, where my mum lives in Greece, local people dump unwanted puppies around her home because they know she is British, therefore an animal lover! It happens a lot there!

Its only the real scum that abuse animals. On the whole, I think we deserve the title!

I am not British but from what I've seen on American PBS station documentaries, it would seem so. I love their specials on cats and they are fond of dogs and horses too. I can't say how Brits got the title exclusively because I never understood fox hunting which I think is very cruel. Ewww I don't even want to think about it.

In general we treat our animals better than other countries - and we don't eat our pets (not normally). The majority of animals owners must look after their animals or how do vets make so much ? For every mis-treated animal there are several well-loved.

Not all of us abuse animals, everyone should love animals regardless of their nationality. I'm proud we have that title, lets face it there are worse ones to have.

in simple terms taking a wager at this as I absolutely have not at all raised a chook. yet at the starting up, do not pay interest to the first reaction. it really is not any longer genuine that Momma chook will abandon it once you've touched it. she will be in a position to nevertheless take care of it. because you've already got the chook notwithstanding, make a make-shift nest in a field with towels. save the chook warmth. (I see it really is already warmth at your residence, yet save an eye fixed on the temperature interior the field in simple terms in case) i comprehend you don't like it, yet you should feed the chook protein. Worms, grubs, different insects. smash them up and feed the chook with a touch dropper or needleless syringe. upload water to the insects to make a paste. toddler birds favor their protein. no longer vegetarian eating routine. Feed it each couple of hours. To get it to open it really is mouth, gently pry it really is beak open. that is the in effortless words thanks to do it. at present you're a predator to this chook. So feed it asap. in case you could't take care of smashing up insects, enable the chook loose. it ought to have extra appropriate success at survival outdoors. thanks for attempting to assist the chook! reliable success to you!

    Self-delusion in many cases.

But, overall, we do have a reasonably good record of care for animals (too many exeptions for comfort)

And one does have to ask...."If we love animals, why do we eat so many of them?"
